SUPPORT ELAN

My Dear Friends and Family. 

 

I need your help! As many of you know, the last three years of my life have been solely dedicated to my profession and my dog, Elan de Casa Cubano. I have given up time with you (and believe me, I greatly miss you all), experiences with you, holidays off, and anything and everything in between in my heart-driven quest to become one of the very best handlers and trainers in this sport of IGP.

This is one of the most challenging ventures I have ever thrown myself into, and I am greatly appreciative of my growth and experience thus far; truly life-changing. However, I am honored enough to have a dog of world-class quality. With this new adventure, my training needs to be impeccable, and I will need the time off work to travel for help, insight, and trial-like experiences for my dog. This will cost me money as I cannot sustain my current client load and do this. Not to mention the gas and expenses for that travel and help. On average, getting ready for a trial, I drive 5 hours a day round trip 5 days a week while keeping my regular workload. 

 

I also need to get myself, my trusted coach, Dan Heldreth, and Elan to Greece. This includes flights, lodging, and rental cars. All of this is way beyond my normal means, but especially beyond my means when my workload must be curtailed for Elan's training and best shot at success. 

 

This is the Olympics of dog training. I will compete against the best in the world in very hard conditions. This is my passion. The sport is what I love, but more than the sport, I love and trust my dog. He is one of the greats. He is by far the dog to represent the United States of America and I am doing my very best to stand next to him and deserve that honor. I can only do this with your help. All the funds raised here will go directly to supporting me and Elan's 2025 FMBB World Championship quest. Thank you all so much for your support, I could not do this without you.
